Please read my previous review, as this review expands on the previous observations... What I'm adding this time is that this McDonald's has a huge Play Place, great for keeping the kids busy and active after a meal. The staff here are pretty good about keeping the area and tables clean, and I feel like there are regular sweeps to check that everything is up to standards. Unlike most indoor playgrounds, this location has a ton of seating, so it's easy to find a spot, even on the high traffic weekends. I left a tip about it, but the climate in here is comfortable. It never gets hot, probably a mixture of the air conditioning and the fact that the windows are primarily north facing. So no sun really gets directly in here, except in the late afternoon. Lastly, the service has really improved at the cashier. Taylor is a standout, and there are some other new hires who have been really patient and polite.

The Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich is pretty tasty, especially coupled with some of their fries and a Coke! Everything else is gross.

This place is run by teenagers and young adults that are my at least in their early 20's. I come here several time and that's all I see. IAnyway, I wanted to seriously throw my kids happy meal at this guy face when he told me,"No,that's all we have"....For the minion toy since my kids have a few already and I wanted them to have a different one. He didn't even go and check. I know he was being lazy. I over heard his co worker asking him after and you can just tell. It was bs. I come here on several occasion bc it's closer to my home although I always end up with bad fries. They seriously don't know how to make their fires! It's always smudgy, soft and drench in oil. I usually just stop here for their oreo Mcflurry. Now,I'm just going to drive a lil more to Algonquin McDonald's instead and enjoy it at that one vs this one.

Any review of McDonald's is going to sound redundant, pedestrian, and boring... Which is why I'm writing one and because I've got nothing better to do on a Sunday morning.... So I ordered an Iced Coffee using the drive-thru lane. There was only one car ahead of me when I pulled up (I heard the driver of the car ahead of me order an unsweetened iced tea with lemon, followed by the person over the speaker say "will that be all" and the driver say "that's it" and then the person gave instructions to the driver to "please move forward and pay at the first window")... When it was my turn, I gave the person my order via the intercom while watching the monitor to confirm they got it correct, which they did. Then, as instructed, I drove forward to the first window where I paid for my order (noting I received back the correct change (I paid with cash). I then proceeded forward (as instructed) to the 2nd window where I eventually had my order handed over. While I waited for my order to be handed over, I noticed there were three cars waiting for their food orders as an employee came out with two handfuls of McDonald's bags and handed them to the waiting people in the three cars (I wondered briefly how the employee knew which order went to which car). On the third car, a van actually, the employee appeared to know the occupant because they waived to someone in the back seat... At that time my iced coffee was handed over by the server working the second window and I drove off. My iced coffee was refreshing because it's moderately hot and humid today. Since I had nothing better to do at the moment, I took the time I write this review in the parking lot sipping the straw of my iced coffee... I guess I could sum up my experience here as a routine stop at McDonald's, nothing out of the ordinary... I'll come again for another ordinary drink purchase in the future when the time comes, and I imagine this review will stand for that visit too...

97% of the time I get great tea...Sunday seems to be the day they phone it in on tea. Have tested this for awhile. Sunday seems to be the day I get a cup of old tea. As for the food, its McDonlads. They get my food orders right, the people are nice, actually really nice. Kudos for having nice people! Please just make sure the tea is always fresh. And no, keeping it in the fridge for a day isn't fresh.

I don't know why I came back here. This location constantly messes up tour order.the staff is rude and do not care. Maybe they are just to used to the drug addicts from next door to care anymore. The drive thru is slow all the time . The only bright point is the inside is clean. Price is what you would expect. I would love to see this location bull dozed to the ground. I would not recommend this to anyone

The food was fine and the server was great. I give this two stars because of the awkward, uncomfortable way the apparent manager on duty "Kelly" rudely belittles the sweet, hard working kids behind the counter. I was so uncomfortable with the exchange I witnessed between this poorly appointed manager and the server helping me that I couldn't get away from the counter soon enough and don't plan on returning to this location. Ray Kroc is turning over in his grave. There was no excuse or reason for her to be talking to the workers that way. If, in fact she did have a legitimate issue with a worker, she should take it to a private location--not loudly in front of patrons. What I witnessed was a simple, polite question by the guy waiting on me and her demeaning, belittling manner in which she answered, giving a sideways glance to all of us patrons inferring that he was an idiot. LOSE THIS MANAGER! I don't know how she got there.

Free wi-fi baby! Can't beat that. Play area great for smaller kids. They've just finished "remodeling" the inside, I think to make it look a little more like a Starbuck's. Open around the clock all year, except on December 25th so Ronald can celebrate the baby jesus. I'm actually here right now, Yelping instead of getting any work done like I told myself ;)

It's McDonalds. Got an ice cream cone here....very tasty. The only other things I will order here are their coffee and breakfast. But my question is directed towards the designer of the parking lot. Really? It took us 5-8 minutes to back out of the spot because the drive-thru line is right next to the parking spots. Crystal Lake, I'm not sure why everyone had the munchies at 3pm, but avoid parking towards the entrance.

Stopped for breakfast. Piece of plastic in the oatmeal. Manager apologized and gave 2 free oatmeals for next visit. Probably won't go back there. Teeth are important to me.

I'd give this McDonald's zero stars if I could. The staff can't speak English and has time after time messed up our orders. We've gotten fries that are half full, wrong drink orders, and once we got burgers that wern't finished, no tomato, ect. This location is terrible and I haven't been to this one in three years. They're pathetic.
